A Duku Savings account, how does it work?

Required documents which are needed to open a DUKU saving account.

The legal representative should bring the following documents when visiting the bank

A) Proof of identity ( at least 2 types)

  1. Passport
  2. Driving licence
  3. ID card
  4. PSA card

B) CBB extract from the legal representative (not older than one month)

C) Proof if identity or CBB extract of the child

D) Family record book

Certificate of school

 

 

*If the legal representative is not yet a DSB account holder, please bring the following documents:

  • Employer's declaration/pay check, not older than three months (for non-Surinamese citizens 3 last bank statements or reference letter (if you are a current accountholder with another bank)
  • 2 forms of identification
  • Certificate of residence, CBB extract, from the legal representative (not older than one month)

 

 If a third person is the sponsor (who will maintain the account) please bring:

  • 2 forms of identification (for non-Surinamese residents a passport is required)
  • Employer's declaration/pay check, not older than three months (for non-Surinamese residents
  • Reference letter or bank statements from the foreign bank)

 

For non- Surinamese residents

  • Certificate of residence (CBB extract/ document issued by the commune)
  • Recent invoice of the utility company
  • Rental agreement
  • Valid E-mail address
